Unity Outreach Annual Events
Fighting back against cancer with awareness, compassion and support.
Unity Outreach is proud to offer three big events each year that help us accomplish our goals to provide emotional, physical and spiritual support to women in St. Johns County who are battling breast cancer. The public is invited to participate where possible in all of our events and donations are always welcome. Read more about each event below and click on the link to register online for the event of your choice.
Think Pink Motorcycle Run
Our biggest event of the year is the annual motorcycle run held each October. Not only does this event bring in the funds we need to help local women and their families, it also raises awareness for this disease which is so crucial in the fight to end cancer. We held our first Motorcycle Run in 2009 and each year since it has grown in ways we could have only dreamed of. The ride begins and ends at Flagler Hospital where we also set up informational booths and a silent auction. All of the funds raised through this event go toward helping families in St. Johns County. The 2011 Think Pink Motorcycle Run will be held on Saturday, October 1st.

Women’s Retreat and Conference
In February, Unity Outreach hosts an annual women’s conference with guest speakers and fellowship time to provide breast cancer survivors and patients with a place to form new bonds and an understanding that this is not a battle you have to fight alone. Our 8th Annual Conference will be held in February 3rd and 4th, 2012, details to come soon.

Hat and Tea Party
One of the biggest obstacles to winning the breast cancer battle is spreading awareness throughout our community about the ways in which you can prevent this disease. Our annual Hat and Tea Party, held every year in May, is an opportunity for men and women in St. Johns County to learn more about the common misconceptions about breast cancer and the steps you can take to save a life with early detection. Dates for the next Hat and Tea Party in May 2012 are to be determined.
